A native southern plant with bright green clumping foliage that turns a rich yellow in fall. Clusters of star-shaped periwinkle flowers appear in early summer. Grow in full sun in moist, average or dry soil. Slow to grow at first, but takes off in the second year. Fall color is brightest in full sun. Use in borders, rock gardens, native gardens, cottage gardens or open woodland area. A good companion with asters or sedums. Best when massed. 12”-36” tall.
