Make a planter with shade loving plants to decorate your porch or to brighten a shady corner of the yard. We will provide an array of plants and materials and guide you through the design and planting process. We will also cover maintenance practices and how to keep your beautiful planter thriving all season long.

Shade planters can be exotic, lush, and full of interesting textures and colors. We invite you to enjoy our greenhouse after hours, learn about shade loving plants and take home your gorgeous creation.

This year, our Make + Take classes are 45 minutes long, starting at 5pm and 6pm. Choose a slot that works best for you. $54.

Hope Johnson has been a professional gardener for over fifteen years and an artist all of her life. She is inspired by the geometry of patterns in nature and uses color and patterns in both her garden design and quilt work.
